The GDP of Turkey grew by 11% in 2021 and amounted to USD 815.27 million. Tertiary sector makes up 61% of the GDP of the country, followed by industry sector at 32% and agriculture at 7%.
In terms of foreign trade, key exports of the country are vehicles, processed petroleum oils, machinery and mechanical appliances, electrical machinery and equipment, iron and steel products, clothing, plastic products, jewelry, fruit. Imports of Turkey consist of mineral fuels including oil, coal and petroleum, electrical energy, gold, pharmaceutical products, computers and smartphones, engienes, iron, steel, organic chemicals, aluminium, precious stones, gems.
